micaal@recon-intl.comMicaal graduated from the University of Gloucestershire and the University of Manchester and in 2009 joined Reconnaissance International as Business Development Manager to develop the company’s activities in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. He subsequently took on the role of Regional Director with responsibilities for the ID and travel documents side of the business amongst other things. In early 2020 he joined Demax – a leading supplier of holographic laminates and foils for secure documents – to work with security printers and governments on delivering holographic protection for passports, identity cards and other security documents. He rejoined Reconnaissance in late 2022 and is now International Hologram Manufacturers Association (IHMA) General Secretary as well as Conference Director for the Holography Conference™ Online and the Optical & Digital Document Security™ Conference. Micaal has contributed to several of Reconnaissance publications and market reports, was previously editor of ID & Secure Documents News and has extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing, market research and IPR management.
